I went with a simple colour palette of black and white that had a striking red within to catch the eye of the viewer. The hardest problem was that I wanted the character of Annie to portray beauty and not come across as a witch in an evil sense. So needed to stay away from those generic witch like tendencies such as the witches hat or ugly yellow teeth.
I managed to find the "witchyness" in the logo simply by concentrating away from the character and switching a broom to a spatula. Using a quirky twirly font that complemented the circle that the imagery sat in.

As the brand grows the logo has the ability to be simplified again and used as an icon for website etc, by taking out the type and growing the character.

Business Card
As with everything else, the client wanted the clean white simple aesthetic to play out again, allowing the food speak for itself.
I pinpointed the logo to the middle of the canvas sitting above
the strapline.

I found a way of using part of the logo just to bring out the clients' name, and contact details following the curvature of the circle. All framed by 4 foot pads representing the underside of her chopping board.
The client requested something a little different to the rest of her branding. She wanted a busy eye catching blurb to be used for their wholesale products in cafes and restaurants that showcased her background, what she offers as well as her contact details. This was simply done by placing her eye catching treats softly into the background.

The client also requested for the logo to be used for apparel. Here we see some early items.
