Tasked to produce two part mockumentry film about a small town bodyboarder's rapid rise to fame. Documenting his upbringings from his struggles of breaking out of a surf community after being exiled because he was a bodyboarder, (or a sponger as he used to get called). Unveiling his deep rooted passion for the North East.

North Sea Sponges II
With the second film we had to up the ante to increase the hype around the film. We showed the dizzy heights and places that body boarding had taken Will, talked about creating his own brand, had an MTV cribs episode, a beer comercial and even had a statue made in his honour.
Magazine Interview
After his two films North Sea Sponges and North Sea Sponges II Will's career sky rocketed to new heights. Will was interviewed by Region Magazine to talk about his early years, inspirations, triels and tribulations.
Along with the films we wanted to build a brand, so using a satirical approach I combined the fin manufacturer of Will's fins along with the fin itself to be used as the letter A to form the name DaFinitsterre and looked to grow and evolve it.
I set about producing some apparel to push the brands appeal, making t shirts hats and a beer can.
Keeping the satirical nature of the brand I wanted to add a strapline that had the word 'Fin' embodied in it, so went with 'infinite Is Nothing' This could be evolved in the future but keeping the same rule for example; 'First To The Finish Line'.
