Sea Banks is small local business that was for years an ice cream van situated on the banks of Tynemouths two beaches looking out to the picturesque Tynemouth Priory castle. They were undergoing development to a new Victorian style ice cream hut, that would now be selling coffee, tea and cakes. Therefore they required a whole new identity to go with their new space.

They asked for a logo to be simple in that it can work easily on t shirts and aprons as well as staying in keeping with its surroundings and to have an overall victorian feel to it.
I kept it two toned using black and white and went with an old fashioned style swinging sign shape and found a way of incorperating the sillouette of the Priory into the shape of the sign. Using Engravers MT for the Tynemouth font & Algerian for the Sea Banks font.

As the business was moving into a new modern day direction with its Victorian design I wanted to showcase its branding being used in new exciting settings and did a little bit of packaging for them.

The Brand identity living in its natural setting.
